From the opening face off, the Lake Forest Academy girls hockey squad exposed Maine with a dominant performance.

Junior Michaela Crowley won the face off and skated past four defenders before finishing for a 1-0 lead 15 seconds into the game.

“I was very energized today and felt like it was easier to score and play well,” Crowley said. “I like playing against this team. They are a competitive team. They are from my area, so I usually want to play well when I play them.”
