Bernie’s Book Bank is moving to a new building in Lake Bluff, seven times larger than its current facility.

It will expand from a 5,000 square-foot warehouse to a 35,000-square-foot one at 917 North Shore Drive.

The nonprofit hopes to expand its operation of giving free books to children to reach more than 4 million annually up from its current distribution of 1.3 million annually.
