The only contested Lake Forest alderman race ended in a landslide on Tuesday, April 4. Melanie Rummel (74.77 percent) took home the win in the race for Lake Forest 2nd Ward alderman against Paul Hamann (25.23 percent), according to unofficial results from the Lake County Clerk’s website.
