The board of education unanimously adopted the 2017 tax levy of $40,997,144 for Lake Forest High School at its meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 5. There were no changes to the levy since its tentative approval at the November meeting, but concern about the proposed property tax freeze dominated the discussion.
