Dining Out: Fine dining made accessible at The English Room

The shrimp and lobster sandwich is filled with shrimp, lobster, avocado, tomato, mixed greens and balsamic vinaigrette between two slices of brioche bread and served with homemade chips and a pickle.
The beet salad, served as an appetizer, is topped with goat cheese, white balsamic dressing and watercress, and beets and goat cheese finger sandwiches on the side.
The Banana Nutella Trifle served on a wooden board comes with Nutella mousse, sliced bananas and crushed hazelnuts, and cookies for dipping.
Chicken Milanese, a popular entree at The English Room, contains a large piece of fried chicken topped with baby arugula salad and citrus vinaigrette.
Among the dessert options is the B.A. Chocolate Cake filled with caramel mousse and chocolate ganache.

It’s impossible to discuss The English Room without first mentioning th e not one, but two doormen who graciously welcomed us into the Deer Path Inn on a frigid mid-morning day.
