Yanni’s brings a modern take on Greek food to The Glen

The light and flavorful marides ($13) appetizer is made of fried, floured smelts served with skordalia, a garlic spread.
Yanni’s creates a unique and easy to eat version of the Greek desert staple, baklava ($8).
Greek yogurt mousse ($8) is topped with a sweet tomato marmalade is just one of many original creations at Yanni’s.
The maratho salata is made with thinly-sliced fennel with pomegranate, pinenuts, tarragon and dill tossed in olive oil and lemon vinaigrette and topped with feta.

If you leave Yanni’s hungry, you’re doing it wrong.

The Glenview restaurant, managed by seasoned restaurant veteran Andy Kalyviaris, is a little like going to your grandma’s house for Sunday supper, if your grandma is a world-class chef.

Yanni’s opened in October, taking over the old space of Jameson’s Charhouse in The Glen Town Center.
