Since getting started in middle school, the wrestling mat has always been a place where Gage Griffin harnessed his emotions, his passion and dedication fueling him every step of the way.

Yet the emotion that bubbles to the surface when speaking about his impending departure for Cornell College, where he’ll continue to wrestle after graduating from Lake Forest High School, is disbelief.
