Boyd is a junior on the Lake Forest High School boys swimming and diving team. Originally from Syndey, Australia, he moved to the United States in 2011 and recently won the IHSA state championship in the 200-yard freestyle.

How long have you been swimming and how did you get started with it?

I’ve been swimming really all my life. It’s something in Australia that people will always do and I’ve been doing it since I was 6 years old.
