A big strength of the Lake Forest boys basketball team through the first five games of the season has been its defense.

And that defense was almost enough to help the Scouts get back into their North Suburban Lake opener at Lake Zurich, Friday, Dec. 4.

They forced two turnovers in a row getting buckets off of both and cut a seven-point deficit to just three with under two minutes to go.
