They say that with each ending comes a new beginning, a phrase that seemingly holds true for the Highland Park High School girls tennis team.

The Giants finished tied for sixth at the IHSA Class 2A State Championship, tying with New Trier at 13 points. Highland Park’s singles players Caitlin Goldberg and Lily Tiemeyer earned four points, while its doubles teams of Monique Brual and Samara Michael and Devin Davidson and Halle Michael earned nine points.
