Lake Forest Flowers owner making memories for almost 40 years

John Looby likes making memories. He does it with flowers.

The life-long Lake Forest resident and owner of Lake Forest Flowers, 546 N Western Ave., has been serving the community for 38 years and now does it with his daughter, Eileen Weber.

“Lake Forest Flowers has been a family-owned business since it opened its doors in 1917,” Looby said. “It has had different owners over the years, but always local families.”
