When Lucky Fish closed in December of 2018, it left a void in Highwood that the area was looking to replace.
In May, it found that replacement — Lucky Fish.
The restaurant reopened in its same location but had a bit of a different flavor to it: a Mexican flavor.
“I knew what was selling and what wasn’t selling, and (manager Alcia Torres) helped me a lot,” restaurateur Gerry Geffen said.
