Tocco brings simple Italian ‘touch’ to Winnetka

The restaurant’s tortelli al tartufo ($24) is one of its many signature dishes. The dish features handmade, spinach-filled tortelli in a delicate cream and black truffle sauce.
The downtown Winnetka eatery’s pappardelle bisanzio ($18) is a dish that features handmade pasta, basil and crushed tomatoes.

Less than a year after closing his Wicker Park restaurant and taking a break from the industry, Bruno Abate jumped back in by launching Tocco last November in Winnetka.
