Lake Forest native Shannon wins inaugural Patrick Mannelly Award

Notre Dame’s John Shannon, who grew up in Lake Forest and was a key player on Loyola Academy’s undefeated 2015 Class 8A state championship team, is the winner of the inaugural Patrick Mannelly Award, recognizing him as the best long-snapper in Division I football in 2019.
