Organized by the Chemical Education Foundation, with support from UOP LLC, Honeywell and Dow, the You Be the Chemist challenge hosted about 30 middle school student competitors March 11 at Lake Bluff Middle School. Students each were given a remote clicker to answer questions posted on a screen in a single-elimination challenge until there was one winner.
