After 100 minutes of play Lake Forest and Highland Park deadlocked in a 0-0 tie.

The game was forced into penalty kicks, and after first-round misses by both teams it was still anyone’s game.

“In the playoffs, everything is unexpected,” Lake Forest coach Ty Stuckslager said. “In the back of your mind you prepare for it and that’s what we’ve been doing for the last week.”
