This past year has been a waiting game for Kevin Lamp.

But the Lake Forest High School senior’s patience has paid off in more ways than one.

A year after narrowly missing the cut for the U.S. Men’s Junior National Volleyball Team, Lamp has secured his spot on this year’s roster after competing in the NORCECA Men’s U21 Continental Championship Aug. 27-Sept. 2 in Havana, Cuba.
