Lake Forest Deputy Fire Chief Chris Garrison will be retiring from the Lake Forest Fire Department at the end of the month and moving to Sun Prairie, Wis., where he will become the city’s first full-time fire chief. Garrison, a native of Libertyville who now lives in Gurnee, has been with the Lake Forest Fire Department for 20 years.

The Leader talked to Garrison about his career with the Lake Forest Fire Department and how he feels about his new role.
