In 2013, Dr. Leslie West, a chemist at Kraft Foods, donated lab equipment to Lake Forest Academy for student use in the Reyes Family Science Center. West, a parent of LFA alumna Holly West ‘11, hoped that the equipment could enhance academic activities. The opportunity for its extensive use, however, did not come until the next year.
