Shipp is a midfielder on the Montreal Impact. Born and raised in Lake Forest, he grew up playing for the Chicago Fire’s trainer teams before attending the University of Notre Dame. He was then drafted by and spent two seasons with the Fire to begin his professional career before being traded to Montreal in February. On Saturday, April 16, Shipp made his return to the area in Montreal’s 2-1 win over Chicago at Toyota Park.
