he life and legacy of Georgiana Yoke, fiancee to notorious late 19th century serial killer Dr. Henry Howard Holmes, was given new life in a presentation by Judy Nickels, author of “A Competent Witness: Georgiana Yoke and the Trial of H. H. Holmes,” in partnership with the Lake Bluff History Museum at the Lake Bluff Library on Jan. 24.
