On Thursday, Aug. 13, actors and actresses dressed in Renaissance attire frolicked and danced atop a stage on a grassy field silhouetted by forestry and tiki lamps.
The actors were accompanied by some more eccentric characters, such as a gaudy court jester and a banished duke’s daughter disguised as a man.
The play being brought to life, Shakespeare’s iconic “As You Like It,” took place at the Lake Forest Cultural Arts Campus.
