Calum Bishop, Lake Forest Academy’s star soccer player, only played two years on varsity. His freshman and sophomore years.
He spent his junior and senior years playing club with The Chicago Magic (Academy), which meant he could not offer allegiance to both teams.
“My two years on varsity was a good experience,” Bishop said. “You get much closer to the team at high school rather than on a club team.”
But Bishop played club for one reason: To get noticed. And that he did.
