In celebration of the Chicago Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup victory on June 15, Lake Forest Library’s Archer, located in the library’s rotunda, was dressed in a Blackhawks jersey by staffers Chris Schoenherr and Marcos Levy.

The Archer is a covered limestone bas-relief sculpture created by Oskar J.W. Hansen in 1931. Commissioned by Mrs. Stanley Keith and Mrs. Charles H. Schweppe in memory of Kersey Coates Reed, the archer’s face is a likeness of Mr. Reed.
