The Lake Forest Soccer Association U13 girls select team lost 3-1 to TFA Elite (Ohio) in a semifinal game at the U13 Midwest Championships on June 23 in Appleton, Wis.

The tournament included the top 16 U13 girls teams from the Midwest including 12 current state champions. LFSA went 2-0-1 in pool play with wins over the Indiana (CESC) and Missouri (Futura Academy Vardar) state champions and a tie with the Michigan state finalist (Waza East).
