From the Editor: The winter of our discontent

I’ve been writing these columns every week for almost a year now, and as the earth has almost completed a full rotation around the sun during my time here as the weekly ruminator-cum-editor of The Lake Forest Leader, I’ve noticed that my editorials have taken on certain patterns. Every holiday and season gets its place here in the newspaper when it comes time for it; big issues, 22nd Century Media contests and ways to get involved with The Leader also frequently show up as topics.
