Lake Forest golfer Connor Polender is only a sophomore and still has two more years of high school golf ahead of him.

Based on his recent impressive play, he has a lot to look forward to.

Polender capped off an outstanding performance at the Class 3A IHSA Boys Golf State Meet at the Den at Fox Creek Golf Course in Bloomington, Friday-Saturday, Oct. 16-17, coming in third with a score of 150.
