The stands at Lake Forest College’s Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse were packed with Foresters on Sunday, Jan. 31, but they weren’t cheering on the LFC hockey team this time. Instead, they showed fan support for Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association’s Falcons Sled Hockey team at the sixth annual The Sleds Are Coming event. The GLASA Falcons game consisted of three 12-minute periods of 5-on-5 sled hockey with the White squad emerging victorious over the Black squad, 4-3.
